About South Mountian Community Church

About Us
What you can expect when you visit SMCC

You can expect to be welcomed.  There are parking lot attendants and other volunteers who are available to assist you.

You can expect to have your children taught in a age appropriate, clean, safe and fun atmosphere.  Our goal is to see the children dragging the parents back to church.

You can expect youth to have a group they can connect with.  We have both Middle School and High School groups who do all the stuff youth groups do with trained Pastors for each.

You can expect a worship experience that will be encouraging, helpful and understandable.  Excellent contemporary music along with Bible centered messages are a hallmark of the SMCC experience.

You can expect an opportunity to take your next step in your faith walk.  For instance, you can join a small group, recovery group, divorce recovery group, men's or women's groups – the list goes on, but you get the idea.  Other opportunities to get involved and to serve await those that come to SMCC.

Just a note: You can expect people of all faith backgrounds.  You can expect people to be dressed in everything from their "Sunday Best" to their "going to the ball game" clothes.

We are "One Church-Two Locations"
We meet at two separate location in the Valley – the Draper campus and the Daybreak campus.  Either location will give you the same atmosphere and preaching. The children's ministry, youth ministry and music are very similar at both campuses. We encourage you to choose the campus closest to you so that you can go to church with your neighbors.

Parking (@Draper)
When you come to SMCC you'll notice that we meet in a warehouse building. This means we share our parking lot with other businesses. Our parking lot attendants will direct you to a space. For our first time visitors, please turn on your lights so we can direct you toward a space up front. We also have reserved spaces for our new moms and pregnant women.

Children's and Youth Programs
We offer Sunday School and childcare during all services. Children start out with their own age appropriate worship and big group time, then break out into small groups. As well, we offer a Jr High group during the Saturday night service and the first service on Sunday morning @ Draper; a Sr High group during the second service on Sunday morning @ Draper; both Jr and Sr High @ Daybreak. (See the home page for service times.)

Again, we are excited to welcome you to SMCC. We'd love to meet you in person at one of our weekly Saturday night or Sunday morning services @ the Draper campus OR Sunday morning @ the Daybreak Campus. (See home page for service times)
